Laura Berners
Co-Founder of AKADEMY Dance Company. Since launching the school in 2016, Laura has helped build a welcoming dance family where every student is encouraged to grow in confidence, develop their skills, and share a love of dance alongside her partner in crime – proving that two peas in a pod really can make great things happen.
Carly Kane
Co-Founder of AKADEMY Dance Company. Since launching the school in 2016, Carly has been dedicated to creating a fun, supportive environment where every dancer can thrive. Alongside Laura, she has helped grow AKADEMY into the incredible dance family it is today—because two peas in a pod really do make the perfect team.
Alicia O'Malley
Assistant Teacher at AKADEMY Dance Company since 2023. With her kind, encouraging nature and passion for dance, Alicia loves supporting our dancers in class and helping them grow in confidence, skill, and their love for performing.
